Privacy Policy

This policy explains how TERVO (the "App"; the party that provides and maintains the App is "we" or "us") handles information about you. Our principle: if we don't need it, we don't collect it.
1. What we do not collect
- There are no accounts. We do not ask for your name, phone number, email or identity documents.
- Your recovery phrase, private keys and app password are processed and stored encrypted only on your device, and are never sent to us or anyone else.
- Fingerprint and face recognition are handled by your phone's system. The App only receives a pass or fail result and never gets any biometric data.
- The App contains no advertising, analytics or user-tracking tools.
2. Information processed to provide features
- Blockchain queries and transfers: to show balances and history and to send transactions, the App sends your public wallet addresses, query requests and transactions already signed on your device through our server to third-party blockchain node providers. Wallet addresses and on-chain transactions are public on the blockchain.
- Network information: as with any online app, our server, its hosting provider (such as Cloudflare) and node providers see your IP address and request content while handling requests. Our server uses this only to forward requests and limit request rates and does not intentionally store request content; hosting and node providers may keep logs under their own policies.
- Installation identifier: when installed, the App creates a random identifier used only by our server to limit request rates per device and prevent abuse. It is not linked to your wallet, addresses or identity and disappears when you uninstall the App.
- Camera: used only when you choose to scan a QR code. Images are processed in device memory to read the code and are never saved or uploaded.
3. Information stored on your device
The following stays on your device and is never uploaded: your encrypted recovery phrase, data used to check your app password, account names and avatar choices, transactions sent from this device (for display and reminders), and language and appearance settings. Removing the wallet or uninstalling the App deletes it.
4. Third parties
Third-party services we rely on include cloud hosting providers and blockchain node providers. Their handling of the information they receive is governed by their own privacy policies, which we do not control. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
5. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect data on your device, such as encrypted storage and blocking screenshots and backups. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and you should also protect your device and recovery phrase.
6. Minors
The App is not intended for minors. If you are under the age of majority where you live, do not use the App.
7. Your choices
You can stop using the App, remove the wallet in the App or uninstall it at any time. Because we do not keep information that identifies you, we generally cannot and need not look up, correct or delete personal data on our servers for you.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Updates take effect when published in the App; continuing to use the App means you accept them.
9. Language
Where this policy exists in several languages and they differ, the Chinese version prevails.
